Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek

Duration: 23 Days

Trip Overview

  • Destination: Nepal
  • Max Elevation: 5545 m
  • Best Season: March–May | September–November
  • Total Duration: 23 Days
  • Trip Grade: easy

Exploring some of the finest natural and cultural wonders of Nepal is the primary goal of this Jiri to Everest base camp.  Jiri a scenic village located in the Eastern Hilly region of Nepal along with visiting the charismatic villages of Junbesi, Ringmo, and over the great Lamjura hill assimilates the ultimate adventure experiences.

The varying altitude during the trek leads one from the lower hills to the higher Himalayas. the lifestyles of the people in the lower hills to the higher hills can be seen during the trek. one can see the village, paddy fields, herds of sheep and cattle, and the Nepalese day-to-day activities in the same way they are living. EBC via Jiri tends to be longer than any other route leading to Everest. This is also called the classical route to Everest because before there was no means of transportation available then Jiri used to be the Gateway to Everest.

We highly recommended it for those looking to experience the unique and extreme landscape of Eastern Nepal (including Himalaya), observe and mingle with ethnic tribes and explore varieties of flora and fauna.
